Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 cups KNUDSEN Cottage Cheese
- 1 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 jar (24 oz.) tomato and basil pasta sauce
Directions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Brown beef, sausage and onion in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook 30 sec. to 1 min. Drain meat; return to skillet. Stir in pasta sauce.
- Meanwhile, cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, omitting salt.
- Combine egg, cottage cheese, parsley and 3/4 cup Parmesan in large bowl; stir to combine.
- Place 4 lasagna noodles onto bottom of 13×9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with layers of 1/3 of the meat sauce, 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture and 3/4 cup mozzarella. Repeat layers. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan. Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 50 min. or until heated through, removing foil after 30 min. Let stand 15 min. before cutting to serve.
