Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 3/4 lb. mixed mushrooms
  • 3-1/2 cups fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1 cup KNUDSEN Sour Cream
  • 1 pkg. (12 oz.) egg noodles, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced green onion

Directions

  • Combine flour, garlic powder and black pepper in medium bowl. Add meat; stir to coat meat completely.
  • Heat oil in large pan over medium-high heat. Add meat, stirring occasionally until browned on all sides, about 3 to 5 min. Add onions and mushrooms; cook until tender, about 3 to 5 min.
  • Add broth and meat back to pan. Bring to a boil; simmer on low heat for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
  • Stir tomato paste into sauce. Remove pan from heat; stir in sour cream.
  • Serve over cooked egg noodles and top with green onions.
